About Me

Artist Statement

I am an artist working with many mediums such as graphic design, interactive media, and photography. In my work, I utilize type, movement, and framing to create meaningful stories. I work in the interior design industry and I enjoy incorporating this aspect into my artwork.

To create my work, I tend to think a lot about the surroundings of where the work will be, or how I want the audience to feel about it. Many of the works I have recently created form around the places in which they are hung. The relationship between space and art tends to fascinate me and I have found myself focusing on that more and more. My process involves breaking down a problem to its most basic form and then building it back up using art to demonstrate the answer.

Currently, I am working on a series of graphic images in which I demonstrate a unique and strange relationship between space and light. Using images I’ve taken along with Adobe Photoshop and oil paints and pastels, these works will create a sense of other worldly realities.
